Qualification:-

M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/ applied/ material/physical/analytical) with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university. Candidates with NET/GATE qualifications will be preferred. Please note that, candidates from any other branch of chemistry will also be considered based on their performance in the written test and Interview.

 

General Conditions:-

Emoluments: 12000/- p.m. + HRA (HRA for NET-JRF qualified candidates only) for JRF/PA-II 

Age: Should not be more than 28 years for JRF/PA-II (Relaxation as per CSIR rules). 

CSMCRI is a national research laboratory under CSIR, which is well equipped with research facilities of international standards (website: www.csmcri.org). Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for the positions of Junior Research Fellow/Project Assistant Level-II, to work in the area of polysaccharides, ionic liquids and natural product chemistry under projects funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi.

The selection of candidates will be done by conducting a screening test followed by personal interview of the short listed candidates on the same day.  No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
