A walk-in-interview for working in DST research project entitles “Non-gassing electrode materials for Electro-osmotic pumping based subcutaneous drug delivery system” at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, has been arranged as per the following details.

 

General Conditions:-

Senior research fellow (SRF): 1 Posts under DST sponsored project “Non-gassing electrode materials for Electro-osmotic pumping based subcutaneous drug delivery system”
Qualification       :    M.Sc Chemistry with minimum 55% marks; NET qualification; two years of research experience and at least one publication in SCI Journal. (NET qualification includes CSIR-UGC NET including LS, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Joint Admission Test (JAM), Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), Biotechnology Eligibility Test & Test Conducted in Bioinformatics by Bioinformatics National Consortium, Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST), Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Science (JGEEBILS), NBHM PhD Scholarship Screening Test, ICMR-JRF Entrance Examination, ICAR-All India Competitive Examination (AICE)). 
Fellowship           :    Rs. 18000/- (Consolidated)
Job description    :    The selected candidate will work on the development and new ionic membranes and electrode materials for non-gassing electro-osmotic pump application
Age limit             :    32 years as on date of interview (age relaxation as per CSIR rule).

 Project duration: Till March, 2016

 

Junior research fellow (JRF)/project assistant level II: 1 Posts Posts under DST sponsored project “Self pumping membranes for biomedical applications”
Qualification : For JRF: M.Sc Chemistry with minimum 55% marks; NET qualification (NET qualification includes CSIR-UGC NET including LS, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Joint Admission Test (JAM), Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), Biotechnology Eligibility Test & Test Conducted in Bioinformatics by Bioinformatics National Consortium, Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST), Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Science (JGEEBILS), NBHM PhD Scholarship Screening Test, ICMR-JRF Entrance Examination, ICAR-All India Competitive Examination (AICE)).

For Project assistant II: M.Sc Chemistry with minimum 55% marks;
Fellowship : Rs. 14000/- + HRA [for JRF]/ Rs. 12000/- (Consolidated) [for PA-II] Job description : The selected candidate will work on the design and synthesis of ionic and electrode materials for self-pumping membranes. . Age limit : 28 years as on date of interview (age relaxation as per CSIR rule). Project duration: Till March, 2017

Project Assistants Level - I: 2 Posts under DBT-BBSRC sponsored project. “Transnational approaches to resolve biological bottlenecks in macroalgal biofuel production (SuBBSea)”
Qualification : B.Sc. in Botany / Biochemistry / Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks. Fellowship : Rs. 8,000/- (consolidated) Job description : The selected candidate will work on collection of seaweed, handling of laboratory cultures, analysis of nutrient parameters positions require extensive field work. Age limit : 25 years as on date of interview (age relaxation as per CSIR rule). Project duration: Till March, 2017.

 

General Conditions:-
Interested candidates are requested to appear before the Selection Committee for personal interview along with biodata, two sets of all certificates and originals as well as two passport size photos on 5th November 2015 (9.30 AM) at CSIR-CSMCRI, G. B. Marg, Bhavnagar-364002, Gujarat India. The posts are purely temporary for duration of sponsored project only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.
No travelling or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interview.
